Dr Chao Li is a neurosurgeon trained in Shanghai and did his PhD in Clinical Neurosciences at Cambridge. His research in near-oncology focuses on characterising brain tumours using advanced neuroimaging and artificial intelligence. He has particular research interests in explainable artificial intelligence to bridge the gap between model development and real-world clinical application. The research outputs could provide clinical decision support for tailored treatment.
